Iso extract is iso alp...Not a dumb question but no. Iso extract is iso alpha acid and iso is just a chemical. It may have come from a hop but it's just a chemical like sucrose. Sucrose is sucrose whether derived from sugar cane or sugar beet. Manufacturers of the iso use high yeilding high alpha hops so it may have even come from your side of the pond.
