Honoured and Humbled

I am honoured and humbled to have a couple of my beers reviewed by two of the world’s finest and most discerning beer writers. Please follow the links to their blogs.

Whilst on the subject, I got my copy of Zak Avery’s 500 beers from Amazon on Friday. It is a very lovely thing indeed. Out of the 500 beers I have had about 420 so I’m searching out and looking forward to the remaining 80.

Can't be, it's still wrong shaped glasses

Are really sure Avery does drink from his silly glass? Could it not be an affectation put on for public display to give him an image?

At home, all alone, video camera off, he might swig straight from the bottle.

Thanks for the Image by the way Ed! Should have put a credit on the blog for it.

I'm just like Zak, I drink my tap water out of a South West Water branded glass.

Stuart, it's us writers and drinkers who should be grateful to you for producing such great beers (Doom Bar excepted, obviously, but hey, you can't argue with the sales figures). And I'm impressed by your hit rate - I'd guess it's the more obscure German and American ones that you need to bag?

Cookie, as I read your comment I was actually swigging from a bottle of Amarcord Gradisca Bionda Speciale. See, even when I neck it from the bottle, I'm still a ponce.

Most of the hits are mine Zak, trying to massage the figures!

You're a god Zak, never a ponce.
